Well hello! and............

......Welcome to my blog! Firstly, if you`re alarmed by my nickname, then please just take a minute to hear me out before you report me to the animal welfare people. I`ve been sort of "tagged" with the "Hamster Kicker" moniker following an unfortunate, but very funny, incident at a nursery that my daughter was going to at the time. You can read the full story here in a thread entitled "Just cus it`s a ball........."

Ok, now i`ve got that out of the way, we can get down to the business of what this blog is all about, and a little bit about myself. Basically I`m a long standing member of an internet sports/betting/poker discussion forum called "Punter`s Lounge". My username on the forum is "Big Andy" and I`ve been around the place since it was created in the October of 2000. I believe I was the second person to register there, and in the 6 years that have passed, over 12,100 other people from around the world, have joined the forum too to make it one of the biggest, busiest and best gambling forums around.
So basically, I hope to be sharing with you, some of my betting stories/activity, poker chat, day to day reflections with maybe a bit of observational humour thrown in for good measure.
